Four band members and their manager were killed when their car plunged into a canal near Stockholm.
A British indie band who were killed in a road accident in Sweden were due to perform in Middlesbrough next week.
Four members of Viola Beach; Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe and Jack Dakin and their manager Craig Tarry died when their car hit a barrier and plunged 80ft into a canal below.
The group were scheduled to perform at a number of venues across the UK, including the Town House in Middlesbrough next Tuesday.
The venue posted a tribute to the band on their website.
It read: "We were absolutely heartbroken to hear the tragic news about the band and their manager Craig over the weekend.
"They were one of the most promising indie-pop bands in the country right now and Craig was a brilliant manager to deal with, his enthusiasm and love of music was absolutely infectious.
"We still can’t quite comprehend what’s happened. Our thoughts are with their loved ones right now."
It's believed the car Viola Beach were travelling in drove over a bridge while it was opening to let a boat travel underneath.
