Police recover £20,000 worth of cocaine from Stockton house
The early morning raid, which took place at an address on Campbell Court in Portrack, was a result of information passed by the local community.
Officers have recovered suspected cocaine worth around £20,000 along with cash and suspected stolen watches as a drugs warrant was executed at an address in Stockton. The early morning raid, which took place at an address on Campbell Court in Portrack, was a result of information passed by the local community. A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug, possession of a controlled drug, handling stolen goods and possession of criminal property. He is currently in police custody. Detective Inspector Tony Cross, from the Community Drugs Enforcement Team, said: “Today’s action has resulted in the recovery of suspected drugs which could have been distributed onto the streets of Stockton, as well as other suspected stolen items.
