County Durham mam says she was left traumatised by horror dental treatment
Mam-of-four Kelly Hahn claims a dentist removed three of her teeth without proper sedation.
A County Durham mam has told TFM she's been left traumatised after a dental treatment she describes like 'something from a horror movie'.
Kelly Hahn claims during a routine filling appointment, the dentist suddenly decided to remove three teeth without gaining proper consent.
The 36-year-old says she felt everything during the teeth extraction as she wasn't properly sedated.
She says she tried to stop the procedure by grabbing the dentist's arms but says he carried on regardless, despite her groaning in pain.
The mam-of-four has received a £7,000 settlement, after it was claimed her three teeth could have been saved.
The dentist denies liability.
Kelly said: "The experience was like a horror movie, I remember everything.
"The sedation didn't really work for me.
"I remember him putting his whole arm across my chest and pushing down.
"Obviously I couldn't scream but I made groaning noises, and he just carried on."
She added: "I could feel him with some kind of tool, pulling these teeth out.
"The pain was so extreme, that's why I was trying to pull his arm away.
"He was literally leaning his whole body weight and he couldn't breathe."
