Second anniversary of Fishmongers' Hall terror attack
Last updated 29th Nov 2021
Today (29 November) marks two years since a fatal terror attack that began at Fishmongers' Hall in London.
25-year-old Jack Merritt and 23-year-old Saskia Jones had been at an event celebrating a joint education programme between prisoners and students.
The pair were stabbed to death by convicted terror offender Usman Khan, 28, who had also been attending the event.
Two other women were injured in the attack.
Khan, who was armed with two knives and wore a fake suicide vest, was tackled by members of the public with a narwhal tusk, a decorative pike and a fire extinguisher.
He was then shot dead by police on London Bridge.
