Two people arrested following death of baby boy in Pembrokeshire

Two people have been arrested in connection with the "unexplained" death of a child in Pembrokeshire.

Emergency services were sent to an address in Clynderwen at around 1.45pm on Friday (October 18th).

Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed they had received a request for a welfare check for a four-month-old boy who had been at the address.

However, when officers arrived at the property, they said the infant sadly died at the scene.

A statement from Dyfed-Powys Police has now said that a 19-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of child neglect.

The two arrested currently remain in police custody as investigations continue into the baby's death.

Investigations are now underway as officer look into the case, the force has confirmed.

Previously, the force had said that the baby boy's death had been "unexplained".
