Huge amount donated in memory of Jordan Banks

More than £50,000 has been raised in memory of a 9 year old boy who tragically died in Blackpool on Tuesday.
Jordan Banks was struck by lightening while he was playing football at a pitch on School Road.
His death has clearly shaken the community as the seas of tributes carry on from the football pitch to his primary school, where dozens of flowers lie on the ground and parents are coming to pay their respects.
Classmates have written messages tied to the railings. One young boy wrote that Jordan was the best friend he could've asked for.
He was known for his big heart, pictured giving sweets to police officers and earlier this year Jordan raised money for charity after his uncle passed away.
He was a massive Liverpool fan, and was praised at the time by James Milner who has since tweeted to say that he was a special boy taken too soon.
Blackpool Tower lit up red - Liverpool FC's colour - in his honour.
In a statement his family say they've "lost their brightest star" who was "wise beyond his years".
