Danger Mouse writer Brian Trueman dies aged 92
Brian Trueman was behind the hit cartoon - which starred David Jason as the world's greatest detective
The writer of classic 80s cartoon Danger Mouse has died at the age of 92.
Brian Trueman, who was from Manchester, also voiced many of the characters on the hit series, which starred Only Fools and Horses actor David Jason as the world's greatest detective.
In a tribute, his son Ben described him as "clever, funny, resilient, (and) an absolute gentleman".
Trueman also worked on other cartoons, including Count Duckula, as well as Children's Hour and Clitheroe Kid.
But Danger Mouse was by far the most famous, with original show ran from 1981 to 1992 and was brought back by the BBC from 2015 to 2019.
