Brother of Bobbi-Anne McLeod pays tribute to 'beautiful and talented' sister

The brother of Bobbi-Anne McLeod has posted a moving tribute to her on Facebook after a body was found by police searching for her.

Bobbi-Anne had been missing since Saturday but last night (Tuesday 23rd) Police launched a murder investigation after the body of a woman was found near Bovisand, South Hams.

Lee McLeod, Bobbi-Anne's brother paid tribute to her on Facebook.

"You didn't deserve this"

In the post Lee McLeod wrote that he loved his sister and that she was a "beautiful and talented girl".

He went to say he would treasure the journey they had been on.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The 24 and 26-year-olds from Plymouth are currently in police custody.

Tributes paid to Bobbi-Anne

Both of Plymouth's MPs are among those who have shared messages of support.

Johnny Mercer tweeted to say he was "devastated", adding that "all our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Bobbi-Anne".

Luke Pollard tweeted: "It is devastating news for our city that a body has been discovered in the search for missing Bobbi-Anne. My thoughts and love are with the family.

"We await news from the Police but this is another dark day for our city. Let’s pull together in the same way we did after Keyham".

Councillor Nick Kelly, Leader of Plymouth City Council, said: "This is really tragic news. Bobbi-Anne McLeod was a young woman who had her whole life ahead of her. It is devastating that someone has chosen to take this away.

"I am sure that the shock of this tragedy will not just be felt in Leigham but across the whole of our city and I know that everyone will stand with me when I say that all our thoughts are with her family and friends at this devastating time".

Chief Superintendent Matt Longman gave a briefing on Tuesday night, saying his thoughts were with Bobbi-Anne's family.

He said officers are doing the upmost to understand what happened, saying he knows this is "weighing heavy" on the people of Plymouth...
