Seaborne: Partick Will Rally Around Pogba
DAN SEABORNE: PARTICK WILL RALLY AROUND MATHIAS POGBA
Dan Seaborne has assured Partick Thistle team-mate Mathias Pogba he will get as much help as he needs after the striker was caught up in the Paris atrocities last Friday.
The 25-year-old forward was at the Stade de France to watch his brother Paul play for France in the friendly against Germany when a bystander and three suicide bombers died in blasts outside the stadium as a string of attacks throughout the city left at least 129 people dead.
Pogba returned to training with the Scottish Premiership side this week and defender Seaborne, at Firhill to promote the Jags' ticket deal which allows students to get into Saturday's league game against Inverness for free, said: "He seemed well, he seemed alright and trained well.
"We haven't really spoken to him about anything.
"I think he is keeping everything in at the moment but I am sure we will have a chat about it and, as a team, help him out.
"Obviously a lot of people have been affected by it.
"It is not a very nice situation for us all but we will help Pogs and anyone else who has been involved in anything like that as much as we can.
"We have a big game on Saturday but if it is not right for him to play and take a break to be around the people he needs then fine, no problem.
"(A game) takes your mind away from things but people are different, some need their family, be around their friends, but we are all quite close so it is good for him to be around us."
