McCall Named As New Rangers Boss

Stuart McCall has signed a short-term contract to take over as Rangers manager. The former Ibrox midfielder will lead the club until the end of the season after the new board acted to rejuvenate the club's promotion hopes. Rangers confirmed McCall had signed his deal just ahead of the former Motherwell boss meeting the media. McCall's appointment was revealed shortly after the club announced the departure of caretaker boss Kenny McDowall.
