The contracts will tie British and Irish Lion Hogg and Scotland wing Jones to Scotstoun until at least May 2017. Full-back Hogg, who has 58 caps for Scotland, said: I'm delighted to sign a new two-year contract with the club. Over the past few seasons we've been going well and I've enjoyed every minute of it.
There is a great group of people around the club and I've settled really well in Glasgow. The Warriors has been a big part of my life over the last five years and I've seen the club grow during that time. I want to be the best rugby player I possibly can be and I believe at Glasgow I've got the right coaches and players around me to help me along the way.
I'm really happy to be staying and I'd like to thank the club and Scottish Rugby for this new contract.'' Jones initially joined the Warriors on loan from Edinburgh Rugby last season before signing a one-year deal in August. The 26-year-old has four caps for his country and also featured for Scotland 7s at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow during the summer. He added: I've enjoyed my time at the club since joining on loan and this new deal will allow me to focus on Glasgow.
Having so many players in the Scotland squad has been really positive for the club and I believe I can work hard to be involved in the future. I'm definitely in the right place to achieve that goal.'' Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: It's great news that Stuart and Lee have signed new contracts with the club.
We appreciate the support from Scottish Rugby enabling us to retain both players in Glasgow. Stuart and Lee add real quality to our back three options as we start to shape our squad for next season.
Stuart has already built up a lot of experience in his relatively short playing career and has shown an abundance of enthusiasm and effort this season. He is improving all the time and I believe he can grow into becoming one of our team leaders over the next few years.
Lee has done really well since joining us on loan and we were delighted to secure him on a permanent deal in the summer. He is the ultimate professional and I believe he is playing better than ever.''
