A WOMAN is to stand trial accused of murdering a mother-of-three by stabbing her to death in the street.
Marie Low, 36, was allegedly knifed in Dundee's Ballantrae Terrace around 3pm on Sunday in front of horrified onlookers, including young kids.
Today Siobhan Russell, 30, of Ballantrae Terrace, Dundee, appeared in court charged over the death.
Russell made a private appearance at Dundee Sheriff Court facing a single charge of murder.
Russell made no plea or declaration to the petition and was fully committed for trial.
Solicitor Paul Parker Smith, for Russell, asked that she be released on bail during a brief hearing.
However, Sheriff Alastair Brown remanded Low in custody for psychiatric assessment before further court dates and a trial was set.
