Woman robbed at knife-point in Perth

A woman's been robbed at knifepoint in Perth.

The 54-year-old's handbag and purse were stolen on a path close to the entrance of Letham Primary School around 8am on Saturday morning.

The suspect is described as white, between 20 to 30-years-old, around 5ft 7in height.

He was wearing a black hooded jacket with his hood up and jeans.

Detective Sergeant Ryan Thompson, of Dundee CID, said: "The victim was shaken but didn't suffer any serious injuries.

"If anyone remembers seeing anyone matching this description around the area at that time acting suspiciously, or has any relevant information, please contact us."
