Woman rescued from burning building in Dundee

Firefighters have rescued a woman from a burning building in Dundee.

The blaze broke out at a property in Maplewood Drive around 8.45pm on Friday.

Three appliances rushed to the scene and rescued the woman from the single-storey property.

She was treated at the scene after breathing in smoke and taken to Ninewells Hospital by ambulance.
