Woman raped in Perth cul-de-sac
It happened in the city's Letham area yesterday morning
Police are investigating after a woman was raped in Perth's Letham area.
Officers were called to the Newhouse Road and Newhouse Place regions around 8:30am yesterday.
Part of the cul-de-sac was closed off as part of enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.30am on Sunday, March 3 2024, a report was made to police of a serious sexual assault in Newhouse Road and Newhouse Place area of Perth.
“Enquiries, which are at a very early stage, are ongoing.”
