EXCLUSIVE: 'Firework throwing mob left me with burned face'
An Edinburgh woman is exclusively telling us she suffered a burn to the face after becoming a target of firework throwing youths in Niddrie this weekend

An Edinburgh woman is Exclusively telling Tay FM News how she was targeted by a firework lobbing mob in Niddrie - suffering a burn to her face.
The resident, who we are keeping anonymous for her own protection, tells us she's still suffering hearing loss after the attack on Saturday night (November 5).
The area of the city was locked down by Police after what they called "large scale fire work related anti-social behaviour".
Eye-witnesses told Tay FM News of the scenes "like a warzone".
The situation, paired with similar disorder in Dundee earlier in the week, has resulted in large scale calls for the banning of fireworks altogether.
But now we're hearing from a woman injured in the chaos.
70 people throwing fireworks
She told us: "Me, my parents and my boyfriend were walking home on Saturday night.
"As I turned into my street there was 60-70 odd people and they were just throwing fireworks at anything and everything.
"People, emergency services, shops.
"As we've turned we've then became a target for them."
Our anonymous interviewee then goes on to explain that the mob threw what she believed were two fireworks at her group.
One of which landed in a bush directly next to her, and as the pyrotechnic exploded it burned her face - making a loud bang.

"I was so scared"
She said: "It burnt my ear and a bit of my face as well - I was terrified, I was so scared.
"The shock didn't set in until I was actually home, it was just a blur.
"I just remember my Mum shouting, I can't remember what she said.
"My hearing has been effected, I can't hear properly in the ear that was closet to the firework."
Police Scotland say a total of 12 people were arrested across the country on Bonfire night - with the majority of what they called a "challenging night" occurring in Edinburgh.
In addition, the evening resulted in five separate attacks on fire service crews across the nation - fortunately none resulting in any injuries.
