Woman taken to hospital following two car crash on A92 at Newport

The crash happened between the Forgan Roundabout and the Tay Road Bridge

A woman has been taken to Ninewells Hospital to be checked over following a two car crash on the A92 at Newport.

Emergency services were called to the Northbound carriageway, between the Forgan roundabout and Tay Road Bridge, at around 7:30am on Tuesday, 11th June 2024.

The crash involved a black Seat and grey Skoda.

The 22-year-old female driver of the Seat was taken to hospital.

Police are appealing for passing motorists, who may have dashcam footage, to get in touch.

Constable Fraser Butter said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this crash and we are making an appeal to any motorists who were travelling on the road at the time who may have dash-cam footage which could be of significance.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0528 of Tuesday, 11 June, 2024.”
