Woman charged over Dundee drugs bust
A 26-year-old woman has been charged in connection with drugs offences after heroin with an estimated illicit street value of around £57,000, cocaine worth £800 and thousands of pounds in cash were seized from an address in Dunholm Road, Dundee today.
A 26-year-old woman has been charged in connection with drugs offences after heroin with an estimated illicit street value of around £57,000, cocaine worth £800 and thousands of pounds in cash were seized from an address in Dunholm Road, Dundee today.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the woman is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Detective Inspector Paul Riley said,
“A significant amount of drugs and cash were recovered today as part of ongoing intelligence-led activity under Operation Slate, by our Detective Officers in Dundee.
"Throughout Tayside, we are committed to tackling drug-related criminality and reducing the harm caused by drugs.
“Supported by local officers, search teams from Operational Support Division and the Dog Unit, we will act on the information you provide to take drugs out of our communities and arrest those involved in their supply.
