Woman's body found in River Tay
The discovery was made yesterday afternoon
A woman’s body has been recovered from the River Tay, near Moncrieffe Island.
Emergency services say the discovery was made around 12:50pm yesterday.
No formal identification has taken place, however officers believe the woman to be Clare Marshall, who was reported missing from Perth on Monday.
Clare’s family has been informed.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
