Woman charged after drugs recovered with £30k at Perth property

A woman has been arrested and charged following the recovery of drugs and money during a proactive operation in Perth.

On Wednesday, 10 August, 2022, a warrant was executed at a property in Logie Crescent.

Officers searched the property and seized a quantity of cocaine and cannabis, with an estimated street value of £3,000, along with a £30,000 sum of cash.

A 41-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

She is due to appear in court at a later date.

"Nothing but misery"

Detective Constable Graham Hay said: "Drug misuse brings nothing but misery to our communities.

"This recovery highlights our continued commitment to disrupting drug activity and supply within our communities.

“I want to reassure people that we are using every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets and to deal with those responsible."
