Pop star wannabes are being put through their paces in Dundee as the X Factor open auditions roll into town.

Singers young and old have been out in their numbers, hoping they have done enough to impress to impress the reality show's casting crew at the Overgate. Open auditions for the reality show have been taking place throughout the day.
