WATCH: RRS Discovery closes in on crowdfunding deadline
Dundee Heritage Trust has less than 24 hours to reach the rest of a £40,000 target to go towards essential repair work on the ship.
The clock is ticking to secure a £40,000 crowdfunding target for essential repair work on-board the boat, the RRS Discovery.
Dundee Heritage Trust is urging the public to donate - with less than 24 hours, there's £3,000 to go.
If they fall short, there's a chance they may not get any of the cash pledged so far.
Executive director at Dundee Heritage Trust, Paul Jennings said: "If we don't get to our total then actually, just the nature of the campaign is that we won't be able to claim any of the money.
"Of the £40,000 total that we are hoping to reach, £10,000 of that will come from The Heritage Lottery Fund so we absolutely have to get there".
