Vandals cause over £20,000 worth of damage in Dundee

Police Scotland continue to investigate a series of vandalisms that took place in the area of the Law and Hilltown areas of Dundee that happened sometime before 4.30am on Sunday, July 3.

Around £20,000 of damage is estimated to have been caused to over 20 vehicles. There was also significant fire damage caused to sheds and several windows were smashed at the Law allotments.

In appealing for witnesses, police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a group of boys in their mid-teens in the area of Law Road, Kinghorne Road, Stirling Avenue and Stirling Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Some of the group have been described, with one of them having worn an orange top, one was wearing a red jacket and was on a bicycle and one boy was wearing dark clothing.

Officers would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and has information that could assist officers with their enquiries to contact Police Scotland on 101.
