Three drop in vaccination centres are opening up to 18-29 year olds in Tayside. The surge programme is for anyone who's not had their first Pfizer jag and doesn't have an appointment.

NHS Tayside is encouraging young people to visit on these dates:

  • Caird Hall, Dundee: Thursday 24 - Wednesday 30 June, 10am-6pm
  • Dewars Centre, Perth: Thursday 24 - Wednesday 30 June, 10am-6pm
  • Arbroath Community Centre: Saturday 26 - Wednesday 30 June, 10am-6pm

Scheduled clinics for those who have appointments will continue to run across Tayside so if you have an appointment you've to still attend.

Dr Emma Fletcher, Director of Public Health, said, “Unfortunately, over the past few days, we have seen another sharp increase in the number of new cases of COVID-19 in Dundee and across Tayside.

“We know that getting vaccinated is our best way out of the pandemic and I would strongly recommend that everyone gets the vaccine when offered.

“From tomorrow, we are running drop-in vaccination clinics across Tayside for people aged 18 to 29. So, please come along and get the jab to protect yourself, your loved ones and your community.”
