Dundee United have appointed Malachy Brannigan as the Club's new Managing Director and Tony Asghar as its first Sporting Director.
The appointments are the first changes in infrastructure following the recent purchase of the Club by Mark Ogren.
Brannigan has previously held similar positions in the EFL Championship and was most recently the Chief Executive of League of Ireland Champions Dundalk FC and brings a wealth of experience to the role. While he assumes overall control of the Club’s affairs, his main focus will be on the business side of the organisation.
Asghar has extensive experience across a range of club performance aspects with previous sports consultancy roles throughout Europe and will work closely with Head Coach Robbie Neilson and his staff to oversee the structure of United’s football department.
