Two men seriously assaulted in Arbroath

Two men have been seriously assaulted in Arbroath.
Officers were called to the town’s Glenogil Drive around 7.50pm yesterday.
The victims were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.
And police arrested a 48 year-old man in connection.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.50pm on Thursday, 14 March, 2024, police were called to a report of two men being seriously assaulted in Glenogil Drive, Arbroath.
“Officers attended and two men were taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
“A 48-year-old man was traced nearby and arrested in connection with the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
