Two in hospital after Crieff Primary School "chemical leak"
A fault in the kitchen is being blamed for the incident

Two people have been taken to hospital after a "potential chemical leak" at Crieff Primary School.
It is understood they work for Tayside Contracts, which employs kitchen staff there.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 11:06 to attend an incident on Broich Road, Crieff.
"We dispatched multiple resources to the scene including four ambulances and three special operation response teams (SORT).
"Two patients have been transported to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.”
The school office says the issue was because of "an undisclosed fault" in the kitchen.
An email sent earlier today to parents also advised that "all staff and children" had been evacuated and "were safe".
Perth and Kinross Council says the evacuation was ordered after a member of staff took unwell and asked parents to pick up pupils.
A Perth and Kinross spokesperson said: “Crieff Primary School has been evacuated as a precaution after an adult working on the premises took unwell.
“Parents have been contacted by the school directly for pick-up as per normal arrangements.
“We are aware Scottish Ambulance and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are on site and we will work with them.”
Police were called to Broich Road after getting a call around 11:30am today.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.30am on Thursday, 5 September, 2024, we were called to a report of a potential chemical leak within a school in Broich Road, Crieff.
“Emergency services are in attendance and the building has been evacuated as a precaution.
“A police cordon is in place and enquiries are ongoing.”
