Two arrested in Dundee after 60 thousand pounds of cocaine discovered

Officers have charged a 29-year-old man

Tayside Police say a 29-year-old man has been charged and a 33-year old woman has been arrested in connection with drugs offences in Dundee.

A drugs search warrant was executed at 12.45pm on Wednesday, 18 August, 2021 in Finavon Place in the city.

Officers uncovered cocaine with a street value of around £60,000 was recovered from the property.

The man is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday 19 August, 2021 and the woman was released pending further enquiry.

Detective Inspector Simon Murray of CID in Dundee said:

'I would continue to urge to local communities to report any concerns about the supply of drugs in their area to contact police, we rely on the support of the public in effort to tackle drugs related issues in Dundee.
