Train hit by tree between Glasgow and Dundee during Storm Gerrit
The severe weather has caused major disruption across the country
Dramatic pictures have emerged showing the front of a Scotrail train hit by a fallen tree in Broughty Ferry.
Glasgow MSP Paul Sweeney shared the images of the smashed locomotive which was heading from Dundee to Glasgow.
We understand the driver was not injured in the incident.
It comes as Storm Gerrit causes major disruption across Scotland - with large parts of the country covered by weather warnings for rain, wind or snow.
