Tony Watt completes switch to Dundee United
The forward is the Premiership's top scorer this season
Motherwell striker Tony Watt has completed his transfer to Dundee United.
The 28-year old signed a pre-contract with the Tannadice side earlier this month but has now made the move in this window.
The switch has now been accelerated after the Steelmen accepted an offer from Dundee United.
Watt is the Premiership's top goalscorer this season and has signed a deal until the summer of 2025
A Motherwell statement said: "Tony Watt has left Motherwell to join Dundee United.
"The striker moves to Tannadice for an undisclosed fee.
"Signed initially on a short-term deal in February 2020, Watt netted 19 goals across 70 appearances in claret and amber.
"We thank Tony for his contributions and wish him well for his future career."
