Three teenagers charged over fire at Dundee market

Around 60 firefighters battled the blaze which destroyed the indoor market on Main Street.

Three teenagers have been charged over a fire which destroyed an indoor market in Dundee.

Over 60 firefighters tackled the blaze on Main Street in the Hilltown on September 12.

Police Scotland said that three boys aged 13, 154 and 16 have been charged in connection with the fire.

The 13-year-old and the 15-year-old will be reported to the Children's Reporter and the Procurator Fiscal.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in respect of the 16-year-old.

Police said inquiries are continuing.
