Three men charged with drugs offences as part of investigation into Dundee teen's death

Three men have been arrested and charged with drugs offences as part of an investigation into the death of a Dundee teenager.

16-year-old Lennix Hughes died in the early hours of Saturday 4th March 2023 after becoming unwell at a property in the Dudhope Gardens area of the city.

She was taken to Ninewells Hospital, but died shortly after arriving.

At the time, Police said they were treating Lennix's death as unexplained.

Now, three people have been charged as part of the investigation.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Tay News:

“Following enquiries into the death of a 16-year-old girl in Dundee in March 2023, three men, aged 18, 19 and 35 have been arrested and charged with drugs offences. They will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal."
