Three Charged After Perthshire Heroin Haul

Two men and a woman have been charged after police searched addresses in Perth and Stanley

More than 90-thousand pounds worth of heroin has been seized in Perthshire. It's after police raided an address in Perth's Tulloch Terrace and also Manse Crescent in Stanley yesterday. Two men, aged 72 and 50, and a 36 year old woman have been charged and will appear in court on Saturday. Sergeant Scott Carswell of the Community Investigation Unit, Perth said, “Our team are committed to taking illegal drugs out of our communities and we will continue to carry out intelligence-led activities in Perthshire. "I would like to thank the public for their continual assistance in providing information to assist our officers in taking positive action. "I would encourage people to report suspicious activity in their area to Tayside Division on 101. "You can also provide information anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
