The Queen arrives at Balmoral ahead of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations
Her Majesty will be celebrating her Platinum Jubilee next week
Her Majesty The Queen has arrived at Balmoral for a short break before her Platinum Jubilee celebrations begin next week.
It is understood that the Monarch generally heads to her home in Scotland around this time of the year. She is believed to have arrived yesterday, Thursday 26 May.
It's set to be a busy week for Her Majesty, with the jubilee celebrations beginning next Thursday with the traditional Trooping of the Colour.
They'll draw to a close with a final party at Buckingham Palace on Saturday evening.
