Tennent’s is set to welcome punters back through the doors of Scotland’s pubs – by offering us all a free pint.

Its ‘Dedicated to You’ campaign will see hundreds of thousands of complimentary pints of Tennent’s Lager and Tennent’s Light waiting for pub-goers to enjoy in around 2,000 licensed venues all over the country.

Pubs and restaurants in Scotland are expected to be able to open indoors from Wednesday July 15th, as part of phase three of the Scottish Government’s route map out of lockdown.

Scores of bars, restaurants, hotels and sports clubs, across Scotland, including Glasgow’s Pot Still, Hamilton’s Bar and Kitchen in Edinburgh and Dundee’s Bird and Bear have signed up and are looking forward to serving their customers once again.

Tennent’s has announced ‘Dedicated to You’ with a video sound-tracked by former T-Break artist Declan Welsh and the Decadent West’s heart-warming anthem, Times - a song all about relishing life and being with friends. The beer giant says it’s the perfect accompaniment to the film that follows bartenders returning to work in some of the nation’s favourite outlets, alongside drinkers holding signs with names of people they would like to dedicate a well-deserved pint to.

As well as featuring across Tennent’s social channels, the video sees the brand’s feature on a multichannel television advert set to air on the 15 July across STV, Channel 4 and Sky TV.

Drinkers can claim their complimentary pint at Tennentsdedicatedtoyou.com. They can also share the campaign with someone close to them to allow them to sign up and claim a pint in one of the thousands of participating bars.

Kenny Gray, Managing Director at Tennent’s, said: “For the last 135 years, Tennent’s Lager has been dedicated to Scotland and proud to serve the freshest, quality pints to pubs and drinkers across the country. From moments with friends and family to birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and graduations – the list of things we’ve all missed during this difficult period is endless - and we know that going to the pub ranks highly. After work drinks, cosy pub lunches and memorable nights out with friends have all been put on hold for nearly four long months.

“But we can now finally look forward to celebrating these important milestones once again while creating new ones and what better way to welcome everyone back than by dedicating a pint of Tennent’s Lager or Tennent’s Light to Scotland.”
