Teenager charged after boy hit with pyrotechnic at Perth pitch
10 year-old Levi Rennie was treated at the scene by paramedics
A 15 year-old boy has been charged after another boy, aged 10, was struck by a pyrotechnic during a football match at Perth's McDiarmid Park.
Paramedics had to treat Levi Rennie for facial injuries at the clash between St Johnstone and Dundee on Saturday.
The Dee supporter was then taken to hospital – it is unclear whether he will need a skin graft.
Police also arrested and charged two 17-year-old boys in connection with other pyrotechnics being used at the game.
And two more boys, aged 13 and 15, are being reported to the Youth Justice Assessor after being charged in connection with the use of more pyrotechnics.
