Teenage boy appears in court accused of sexual assault in Perth

A teenager's appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in Perth.

Officers were called to reports of a teenage girl being attacked in Gowans Terrace - at around 9.35pm on Friday 24th July.

The boy, from Dundee, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of two counts of sexual assault and two of assault.

He also faces two charges of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.

The teenager is further accused of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

He made no plea during his appearance at Dundee Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody pending a further court hearing.
