Two teenage girls in hospital after being hit by van on Perthshire road
The pair, aged 14 and 15, suffered serious injuries after the collision near the A90.
Two teenage girls have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a van in Perthshire.
It happened on an unclassified road to Rait – 300 metres from the A90 – at around 3:25pm on Tuesday 23rd of July.
The collision involved a Citreon Berlingo – the driver of the vehicle wasn’t injured.
The girls, who are aged 14 and 15, were both taken to Ninewells Hospital.
The road was closed for around three hours to allow police to carry out an investigation.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision or who may have seen the van driving on the road at that time or after the collision to get in touch by calling Police on 101 or speaking to any police officer."
