Teenage Boy Dies After Accident At Dollar Glen Gorge

A teenager has died in an accident at a gorge.

Emergency services were called to Dollar Glen in Clackmannanshire at around 4.10pm yesterday when concerns were raised for a 15-year-old boy.

It is understood the teenager was with a group of friends at the gorge, which is popular with walkers and features two burns with a number of waterfalls.

Police said the 15-year-old died at the scene and there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police in Forth Valley received a report of concern for a person in the Dollar Glen area around 4.10pm on Saturday.

"Emergency services attended and a 15-year-old male was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

"Inquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances although the death is believed to be non-suspicious.''
