Enquiries after "distinctive" white Ford Ranger pick-up is stolen in Liff.

Police in Angus say the theft took place around 7.50am this morning.

A white Ford Ranger pick-up, with the registration number SH14 YAE, has been stolen in Liff.

The vehicle is distinctive and may have sustained some front accident damage as a result of this incident.

The vehicle was last sighted in the area of Inverarity, Angus.

Officers are seeking to identify three men believed to have been involved.

One is described as white, aged late 20s/early 30s, 5ft 8in tall, stocky, short brown hair, wearing a baggy jumper, grey/black hoody, jogging bottoms, light coloured trainers and is believed to have used a white coloured transit van motor vehicle which left the scene along with the stolen Ford.

Sergeant Peter Mustard, of the Arbroath Police Station said: “This sort of criminal activity in the local community is completely unacceptable and I would urge anyone with information or who may have seen anything to come forward.”
