Staff at a Perth factory which makes Covid-19 tests have returned positive results for the virus.
NHS Tayside's confirmed 10 cases are being linked to the Thermo Fisher facility in Inveralmond.
An NHS Tayside spokesperson said, “NHS Tayside’s Health Protection Team has been made aware of ten cases of COVID-19 connected to Thermo Fisher Scientific factory.
“The factory is working closely with NHS Tayside’s public health team and Perth & Kinross Council. Contact tracing is ongoing and staff are being given appropriate advice and support to self-isolate if required. At this stage no further action is required.”
