Deal will require SFA approval

St Johnstone owner Geoff Brown's agreed a deal to sell up - after 38 years at the helm.
US businessman Adam Webb, a minority shareholder at Cambridge United, is set to buy a majority stake.
Brown announced in December 2022 he was putting the club up for sale, with his son Steve standing down as chairman at about the same time.
He said "net proceeds" from any sale would be put towards building a community hub for the St Johnstone community trust.
The deal, which will require SFA and EFL approval, would make Saints the 3rd Scottish Premiership club to come under American ownership after Dundee and Hibs. Championship champs Dundee Utd are also US-owned.
St Johnstone currently lie 10th in the top flight, one point above the relegation play-off place with four matches remaining.
