Seven whisky bottles stolen from Tullibardine Distillery

The bottles, including an exclusive malt worth around £12,000, were taken from the shop at the Blackford site sometime after 5pm on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Bottles of whisky, including an exclusive malt worth around £12,000, have been stolen from the Tullibardeine Distillery.

The shop at Blackford was targeted sometime between 5pm on Saturday, 17 September, and 9.25am on Sunday, 18 September.

The seven bottles are valued at around £14,000 in total, two glasses were also stolen.

Police want to speak to anyone who may have been in the area and may have seen or heard anything suspicious.

Officers are keen to trace a man who was seen walking with two bags near the A9 at Blackford at about 9.55pm on Saturday night.

He is described as being between 25 and 35-years-old, of medium build and was wearing a red top and light coloured shorts and ‘worker’ boots.
