Scottish Parliament Election 2021: When will we get the results?

Find out when your constituency will declare the result.

Votes will begin being counted in the Scottish Parliament Election from 9am on Friday 7th May 2021.

There are 73 constituencies and eight regional seats up for grabs. A total of 129 MSPs will be elected.

But unlike previous years, counting will take place across two days because of coronavirus restrictions. Social distancing will be mandatory, as will face coverings and hand hygiene.

The majority of the results are expected to be declared at local count centres on Friday 7th May with the remaining seats announced Saturday 8th May.

Results from the eight regional PR top-up seats are expected on Saturday night, with Scotland Mid & Fife possibly around 6pm, and Scotland West at 7pm.
