Published 19th Aug 2017

Both Broughty Ferry RNLI lifeboats were called out to reports of a distressed person on the Tay Road Bridge in the early hours.

They were called out just before 2.30am Saturday morning but were stood down soon after when the person was taken in to the care of police.

By 3.25am both lifeboats had returned to station where the crews made the lifeboats ready for any further call-outs before ending their duties.
