Richard Foster has joined Ross County after leaving fellow Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone by mutual consent.

The defender made 112 appearances for Saints after arriving at McDiarmid Park back in August 2016.

He returns to Dingwall for a second spell after playing for the Highland side during the 2015-16 season.

Earlier this week, St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright confirmed an incident occurred on the training pitch which led to the 24-year-old being dropped from last weekend's squad to face Hibs.
