Residents evacuated after blaze at garage
Firefighters put out the fire at the building in Auchterarder in Perthshire on Sunday morning.
Firefighters have extinguished a blaze in a domestic garage which led to 12 people being evacuated.
Three fire engines went to the scene in the Feus area of Auchterarder, Perthshire, at around 2.50am on Sunday.
Fire crews had put out the blaze by 8.22am.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Meanwhile, a man has been arrested in connection with a number of blazes which flared up around Aberdeen.
The 18-year-old is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday in relation to alleged wilful fire-raising incidents in the Tullos Hill and Redmoss area of the Gramps.
Inspector Chris Kerr, of the Torry community policing team, said: “We are very grateful for the information that we have received from members of the public so far, and I would urge anyone who thinks they may have encountered any suspicious activity in the area during this period to contact us on 101."
