Rangers send youngster Kai Kennedy on loan to Dunfermline
The 19-year old is heading to the Championship
Rangers youngster Kai Kennedy has sealed a loan move to Dunfermline until the end of the season.
Steven Gerrard's men also retain the right to recall Kennedy in January.
The 19-year old will play in the Championship again this season after spending time at both Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Raith Rovers last season.
He made his first-team debut for Rangers on inJanuary 2020 in a Scottish Cup match against Stranraer.
The winger signed a new deal with the Ibrox side earlier this year to tie him down until 2023.
There has also been reported interest from Premier League clubs and an unnamed French side in recent days.
Rangers' Head of Academy, Craig Mulholland, told the club website: “We are looking forward to seeing Kai continue his development at Dunfermline.
“He did well last year at both Inverness and Raith during his first season on loan and his challenge is to take this to an even higher level this year and now make a massive contribution to a Dunfermline side who will have high ambitions for the season ahead.
“Dunfermline have been really keen to sign Kai for some time and we believe that their style of play and excellent grass surface will be conducive to Kai making a big impact.”
