Rangers 'eyeing deal' for midfielder John Lundstram
The former Sheffield United man is a free agent
Rangers are looking to former Sheffield United midfielder John Lundstram as they aim to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
Steven Gerrard said over the weekend that the club were close to bringing in a new player as they ramp up their pre-season preparations.
The 27-year old is now a free agent after his contract with the Blades expired and is being linked with a move to Ibrox once again after previous talk in January.
He was part of the Sheffield United side who were relegated from the Premier League last campaign.
Lundstram made 32 appearances for the club in all competitions last year but is now looking for a new challenge.
According to various reports, Rangers are now the front-runners for his signature.
The Ibrox side have already brought in Nnamdi Ofoborh from Bournemouth and Fashion Sakala from KV Oostende on free transfers this summer.
