Radio Tay is the official partners of a major eighties music festival in Perthshire this summer.

Rewind is returning to Scone Palace for the tenth year, with the likes of Wet Wet Wet making their first appearance.

Organiser Steve Porter believes there's so much to see.

"It's all about the bulk of the acts that we've got. Billy Ocean, Bananarama , Trevor Horn, Nick Heyward, Shalamar," he said

"There's 22 acts that we've got, it's going to be a great weekend.

"It's the tenth anniversary of the Rewind Festival in Scotland so for us it's great to be back. It's a really important weekend for us and we can't wait to get up there."

Wet Wet are headlining the final night of the three day event. Drummer Tommy Cunningham can't wait to perform.

"We've had this date in our diaries for the last four, five months and it's been really difficult to bite our lip and not announce early," he said.

"It's good now that today it's been announced, the event's become quite iconic."

Especially created for the Rewind Festivals, Saturday night will close with Jimmy Somerville’s Big Band-Tastic Boogie.

The hit packed show mixes a band with brass, strings and special effects as well as the world’s biggest party popper and special guest Sarah Jane Morris recreating her 1986 number one single ‘Don’t Leave Me This Way’.
